Privacy Policy for Glow & Keep
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Glow & Keep is a personal lifestyle organizer for wardrobe planning, beauty and skincare tracking, routines, cycle tracking, planning, packing, shopping, measurements, events, and appointments.
This policy explains what the app stores, where that information lives, and the choices you have. Please read it before using the app.
1. The short version
The current version of Glow & Keep is designed to work offline.
- You do not need to create an account.
- Your personal records are stored locally on your device.
- The app does not currently operate a cloud backend for your data.
- The app does not sell your personal information.
- The current version does not include advertising or third-party analytics.
- Product-label text recognition runs on your device.
2. Information you choose to add
Glow & Keep stores the information you enter or choose to save. Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- Wardrobe items, categories, brands, sizes, colors, prices, tags, and outfit combinations.
- Beauty and skincare product details, quantities, notes, purchase dates, opening dates, and expiry dates.
- Routine names, routine steps, schedules, and completion records.
- Cycle entries, symptoms, mood, flow information, and related notes.
- Measurements, clothing sizes, and body-related notes that you choose to enter.
- Planner tasks, events, event preparation tasks, appointments, packing lists, shopping items, purchase history, and notes.
Some of this information may be personal or sensitive. You decide what to enter. Do not add information you do not want stored on your device.
3. Photos and locally stored images
If you select a wardrobe, outfit, profile, or beauty-product photo, Glow & Keep may create an app-owned local copy. This is intentional: the saved record can still show its image if you later delete the original photo from your gallery.
The local copy is stored in the app’s private storage area on your device. It is not uploaded to a Glow & Keep server by the current version of the app.
When you delete a wardrobe item, the app attempts to remove its app-owned image copy. Removing the app or clearing its app data may also remove locally stored data and images.
4. Camera, gallery, and product-label OCR
The app may request access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to take a photo or select one.
For product-label scanning, Glow & Keep uses on-device text recognition to read text from selected images. A single scan opens editable review before saving. If you explicitly start batch product capture, the app creates editable local drafts for the selected images and may prefill a suggested name, size, or expiry date. These values are OCR suggestions and are not guaranteed product identification.
Batch capture never searches or imports your gallery automatically. It processes only the images you explicitly select.
The current OCR flow is designed to run on-device. Glow & Keep does not send the selected image or recognized text to a Glow & Keep server.
5. Where your information is stored
In the current version, your records are stored in a local database on your device. The app is designed to work without an account and without cloud synchronization.
This also means that if you lose, reset, uninstall, or clear data for the app, your locally stored records may be permanently lost. Import, export, and cloud-sync features are not available in the current version unless the app explicitly tells you otherwise in a future release.
6. Information we do not currently collect
The current version of Glow & Keep does not intentionally collect or send us:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials.
- Your location.
- Advertising identifiers.
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data.
- Your photos, product scans, or local database records.
7. Sharing and selling information
Glow & Keep does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Because the current version stores records locally and does not provide cloud sync, there is no ordinary sharing of your app data with Glow & Keep or other users.
We may disclose information only if legally required to do so. In the current offline-first version, we generally do not hold your personal app records in the first place.
8. Your choices and controls
You can:
- Choose not to grant camera or photo-library access.
- Edit or delete records inside the app.
- Remove app-owned record photos by deleting the corresponding record where that deletion option is available.
- Remove local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage, subject to your device’s operating-system behavior.
If you do not grant camera or gallery permission, scanning and photo-selection features will not be available. The rest of the app can continue to work without those permissions.
9. Security
Keeping information on your device reduces unnecessary data transfer, but no storage method is completely risk-free. Protect your device with its normal device lock and keep its operating system updated.
A future version of Glow & Keep may offer an optional in-app PIN or biometric lock. Until that feature is available, the protection of locally stored information depends in part on your device security settings.
10. Children
Glow & Keep is not directed at children. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country, use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
11. Future changes: sync, export, analytics, accounts, or advertising
Glow & Keep may introduce advertising in a future version, potentially using Google AdMob. Advertising is not active in the current version of the app.
Before any advertising is enabled, we will update this policy and the app’s store disclosures to explain the advertising provider, information handled by that provider, available privacy choices, and any consent flow required in the countries where the app is offered.
If a future version introduces cloud sync, user accounts, import/export, analytics, or another feature that changes how information is handled, this policy will also be updated before or when that change becomes available. Where required, the app will provide notice and request any necessary consent.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will show when the policy was last revised. Please review it when you update the app.
